Girls Under Armour (UA)

717 Hoop Dreams is now part of the Under Armour (UA) Rise / Under Armour Future Grassroots basketball Program.

Under Armour (UA) Rise is a complimentary circuit to the GUAA, focusing on high-level competition and exposure to college coaches as its core purpose. The league consists of three age groups: 17U, 16U, and 15U. There are three total league sessions with the season culminating at the UA Rise Championships in July.

Under Armour (UA) Future sets the new standard for grassroots circuits at the middle school level by modeling the format of the UAA and becoming the foundation of our youth basketball platform. UA Future seeks to advance the development of young players, teams, and coaches to set the course of grassroots basketball for the near future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Playing Time
Playing time is based upon talent, commitment, game-time situations and other coaching decisions. Parents/Guardians must understand that playing time will not be equal regardless of the financial commitment towards traveling expenses.

Practice
It is extremely important for player to commit to attending all practices. 717 Hoop Dreams Basketball Club believes that player development occurs in practice. A player who misses practices may incur penalties in playing time at the following game.

Commitment
It is important for players to demonstrate commitment to their team. When commitment lacks from one individual on a team, the entire team suffers, which is unfair. If you are placed on a team, you are expected to attend all practices and games. If a conflict arises, communication with the coach is crucial.

Other Sports
717 Hoop Dreams Basketball Club will work with athletes who play another sport to determine if it is possible for the player to be a part of the program. This will be determined on an individual basis with the player, player’s family and coach.
